It's grainy, but it's awesome! Was the highlight J-Ward's 50 yard goal to end the first quarter? Grimmy's 16 saves? or J-Ward to Caleb for the win?

As communicated last week, the team is planning on attending the BYU/CSU men's lacrosse game this Thursday, 6 March. The game is at 7 PM and located on the Helaman Fields.

Thanks to Candace Gunn for communicating with the BYU coaches and allowing everyone associated with the SF Warriors to attend the game for FREE. However, in order to get in free, we need everyone to be at the gate on the northwest corner of the Helaman Fields (just south of the football stadium) NO LATER than 6:30 PM. In addition, if your boy needs a ride, there are some of us meeting at the ALA parking lot and leaving NO LATER than 6 PM. Otherwise, please plan on meeting at the gate at 6:30 PM.

It is also strongly encouraged for the boys to wear their jerseys to the game. I suggest wearing the black jerseys, but it is up to the individual player.

Reminder of the completion of the team shed this Tuesday morning (4 March) at 10 AM. Since I know I will be receiving this question, the shed is located at ALA. 🙂

In case this was not communicated to the team last week, we are planning on going to the BYU/CSU game this Thursday, 6 March. The game is on BYU's Helaman Fields at 7 PM. We are still working out details on if we can receive a group discount, but anyone is invited (not just team members). It will be great to cheer on our local college team against one of their top rivals - especially a BYU team with a Warriors alumn (Jared Kotter)!

So, if you are in town this week, this should be a great event for everyone associated with Warriors Lacrosse!

Once again, sorry for the confusion today regarding the moving of practices to SFJHS. There was a mix up in the schedule with ALA.

So, going forward, all practices will be at SFJHS. This includes tomorrow, 29 March. The one exception will be Mondays (since the youth use the field on Mondays and Thursdays). Monday practices will all be at ALA. We only have one practice on a Thursday for the rest of the season. Once a location has been determined, we will send out details.

Regarding practices over spring break (next week):
- Varsity will NOT have practices on this Friday (31 March) and will have practices next week on Wednesday (5 March), Friday (6 March), and Saturday (8 March). The practices on Wednesday and Friday will be at the same time and the Saturday practice will be noon to 2 PM. This is mainly due to a tough stretch of games the following week.
- JV will NOT have any practices starting this Friday and through the week of spring break. JV players are encouraged to attend the Varsity practices, but attendance is not considered mandatory.

If you have any questions, please reach out to either Coach Kimber or Coach Plewe.

Regarding transportation to the Logan JV and Varsity games on Saturday, 15 April, the team is renting a school bus to take all of the players to and from Logan. All players need to be at the Wal-Mart parking lot (same as the Fremont game), ready to leave at noon. The Varsity game is at 4 PM and the JV game will follow (approximately 5:30 PM).

Unless approval has been given by Coach Kimber (Varsity) or Coach Plewe (JV), all players are expected to ride up to the game and return on the bus. We encourage parents and families to work to attend. We had to receive special permission to have the game on a Saturday in order to provide a better opportunity for as many people as possible to attend.
